Malorian Warhorses may be one of the more awesome things ever, and I thought these two would make a pretty golden firefly.

”I want one of those fancy things.” Jamison said with a pout, and Enomine rubbed her hand through his hair. “Oh really? I thought they were too…hairy for your taste.” She said with a little smirk, kissing his forehead. “And besides, you have lots of little beasts out there that need your attention. You can start with mine. I swear he’s going to kill me one day.” Enomine said, crossing her arms and looking at him with fire in her eyes. “You’d die for a noble cause.” Jamison said, smiling at her, his diastema starting to peek through his lips. “Oh, what would that be?” “Stevie’s First Kill. I’d give him a sash and a hunter’s cap.” Jamison said and she shoved him hard in the shoulder that Loreley had once crippled. He flinched out of his skin and Enomine shrugged. “Sorry.” She said, her voice a purr, and he frowned up at her, rubbing away the pain.

Looking out the window, watching Niamh work with Eros who magically did not mind the crazy things she did to try to stay clean, such as her squeaky rubber gloves and butcher’s apron, Jamison realized he did like those Malets, but he wasn’t sure he could get over the long flowing locks. He wasn’t sure he had the patience for things like that, he was a more no-nonsense type man. There had to be some happy medium, didn’t there? So when it got to a horridly late hour, he decided to call Ms. Cheesey at Le Pink Pony Stables and see if she had any of the non-fluffy variety.

Needless to say, she laughed at him, and suggested the Malorian Warhorse. She mentioned a breeding that was going on between one of her own Malets and Blue Butterfly Farm’s Gulltoppr out in America. As they talked, he quickly got on the internet and decided to look up all these horses that Ms. Cheesey was giving. Gulltoppr looked like a stunning stallion, and he realized he had had his eye on LPPS’s own Inara when he first started the investigation into these strange horses that Niamh had brought into his life. “You say they’re not as hairy, right?” He repeated, and Ms. Cheesey assured him they weren’t. So he asked if he could lease Inara for a breeding and waited until the next day to place a call to Rebecca at Blue Butterfly Farm, introducing himself then asking if you know, while he was in the mood, Gulltoppr could vacation to Australia and cover Inara. She gave the okay and well wishes for a beautiful foal, and Jamison was already typing Ms. Cheesey a ‘good to go’ email before she hung up the phone.

From all accounts, the breeding went as planned. Inara played a little hard to get, but Gulltoppr stuck through and got the job done before he took his trip back to America. The girls at Hollow Grove could hardly wait for the foal.
